Who I Am
CLARA MARGARITA is a Venezuelan painter and sculptor working with both oil paints and steel. Her collection of work deals mostly with physical bodies and how they can be manipulated, interpreted, and made into something new. She graduated in 2025 from Colgate University earning a degree in Economics and a minor in Studio Art & Art History where she studied many disciplines including painting, drawing, sculpture, and printmaking.
After graduating she spent time in New York City where she worked for both high-end galleries and non-profit artists coalitions before moving to Venezuela to pursue her own creative interests. Clara Margarita is currently living in Caracas, Venezuela, where she continues to explore her central theme of bodies in different mediums.
Quien soy
CLARA MARGARITA es una pintora y escultora venezolana que trabaja con óleo y acero. Su obra se centra principalmente en el cuerpo humano y en cómo puede ser manipulado, interpretado y transformado para crear algo nuevo. Se graduó en 2025 de la Universidad de Colgate con una licenciatura en Economía y una especialización en Artes Plásticas e Historia del Arte, donde estudió diversas disciplinas, incluyendo pintura, dibujo, escultura y grabado.
Tras graduarse, vivió un tiempo en la ciudad de Nueva York, donde trabajó para galerías de arte de prestigio y organizaciones sin fines de lucro, antes de regresar a Venezuela para dedicarse a sus propios intereses creativos. Actualmente, Clara Margarita reside en Caracas, Venezuela, donde continúa explorando su tema central del cuerpo humano a través de diferentes medios.
